Royal Bungalow

There are many nice hotels in Yangon (Rangoon) but our Royal Bungalow is 120 square meters of pure paradise. With an indoor and outdoor shower, a huge love seat big enough to sleep on, Jacuzzi next to the bed, private swimming pool next to the Jacuzzi (and directly adjacent to the Royal Lake), you would not think that you were in a hotel in Yangon (Rangoon).

Superior Room

Our Superior rooms come with either a view of the Royal Lake, Shwedagon Pagodaor Garden.

Delux Room

Our Deluxe rooms are all situated in the A-wing of the hotel. Each of the rooms come with a view of the famous Shwedagon Pagoda or the Royal Lake and are attached with bath and shower; however the rooms on the 4th and 5th floors come with a separate shower cubicle apart from the bath.

Lake Front Deluxe

From your bed room, the doors open up onto a private terrace directly overlooking the Royal Lake. A fantastic place to just relax and have a drink.

Diplomat Suites

Diplomat Suites all come with views of the fragrant garden and rain forest. Each room comes with individually designed and hand-crafted King size beds, private dressing room and a large private bath and shower.

Corporate Suite

Our Corporate Suites are all located on the 5th floor (No Smoking Floor). Since our lifts only go up to the 4th floor, guests need to walk up one more floor to get to these suites. These rooms are not suitable for those that are not willing to walk up one floor, but all our guest have told us that the small walk up is all worth it. Not only are these rooms one of the most beautiful rooms of any hotels in Yangon (Rangoon), but the view from these rooms are also fantastic.

Governor Suite

Sleeping in these rooms will make you feel like you are a Governor in Yangon (Rangoon). The rooms are designed to give a very homely feeling, especially the one on the ground floor. This room has a private terrace with enough room for twenty people, adjacent to the Royal Lake, and a private lawn and garden.

Presidential Suite

Hotels in Yangon (Rangoon) normally cannot boast of an almost 360 degree view from their room, but in the Presidential Suites, both the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Royal Lake is clearly visible.

Imperial Suite

The two Imperial Suites in our hotel are similar in a way but are also very different in character. The one on the 3rd floor comes with a balcony facing the Royal Lake and a pavilion where you can have breakfast or dinner with a view of both the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Pagoda.

Hotel facilities

Jogging Track

One of the nicest parks in Yangon is the Kandawgyi Park directly opposite our hotel (across the lake). From the main entrance of our hotel you can either turn right or left and go around the Kandawgyi Lake. The distance is approximately five kilometers to go one round, but you could also do some jogging within the park. The gate attendants will probably charge you 1,000 kyats or about US$1.- to enter the park or to cross the ugly wooden bridge that runs across the lake.

Masi Private Dining

This specially designed octagon room was named after the Masi coin. Masi was the name of an octagonal like coin used in Myanmar in the late 60’s. As the name suggests, this area is used for private entertainment. It is located in the lower level of the hotel (outside the Thiri Café). There is a bar area for cocktails but as you flow into the main dining area, the room is fully equipped with LCD TV, LCD Projector, drop down screen, stereo equipment and Karaoke machine with more than 50,000 songs in six different languages. The area is also suitable for small meetings or seminars. So when you’re in the mood for privacy, there is no other place like Masi in Yangon. Total privacy and total enjoyment.

Oriental Health Spa

After a long and hot day out on the streets of Yangon, there is nothing like taking a good sauna and massage. The Oriental Spa is located in the old wing on the hotel next to Lake View Restaurant. There are nine private rooms in total with seven of them with private sauna’s. There are also four individual beds for traditional Myanmar massage. Come try the Oil or Swedish Massage, a fantastic way to refresh yourself before your evening dinner.
